I have been throwing on the wheel for over five years. I enjoy this style of pottery in particular because it requires mastering a skill, and there is no limit to the techniques you can learn.
Hand Built
My ceramics style is characterized by clean lines and beautiful forms. I lean into silhouette over surface decoration, preferring the aesthetic draw of an organic clay body.
Sculptural
Sometimes, I get tired of crafting functional pottery pieces. Sculptural work allows me to create a physical manifestation of an image in my mind and display it in three dimensions.
